Rameen Chaharbaghi - Prince

Noted as “worth the price of admission all by himself” (DC Theatre Scene), baritone Rameen Chaharbaghi is an emerging artist based in Houston, Texas.  His most recent operatic roles include the Prince (The Goose Girl), Belcore (The Elixir of Love), Il Poeta (Il Turco in Italia), Crespel (Les contes d’Hoffmann), and Papageno (The Magic Flute).  He has performed with such varied companies as Portland Opera to Go, the Houston Ballet, and the Castleton Festival. Concert work includes the Fauré Requiem, Bernstein Mass, Schubert’s Mass in G, Graun’s Der Tod Jesu, and several Bach cantatas. An experienced actor, Rameen’s theatrical roles include the title role in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, Talbot Champneys (Our Boys), and Simon Stimson (Our Town). He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Maryland and a Master of Music degree from the University of Houston.
