Shannon BerryShannon Berry holds an MFA in creative writing from the University of Notre Dame and an MA in Literature from Northern Michigan University. Her poetry has appeared in Dappled Things and The Bend. She has also collaborated with composers on various projects including Lux Infinita and Songs for Memory and Earth by Sarah Horick, and Family History: A Thanksgiving with Richard Zarou. This is her fourth collaboration with Michael Oberhauser. Others have included Fallen Angels and A Fire In Water, both of which have been part of earlier Capital Fringe Festivals. Their most recent collaboration, Another Country, was performed by the Maryland Opera Stuido in February 2016. Shannon has taught writing at The George Washington University, Northern Michigan University, and St. Mary's College and currently teaches Religion and English at Gonzaga College High School, where she also coaches students in writing and producing their own plays in the school's annual Festival of One Acts.
